Habaneros are a great pepper to use when making hot sauce or spicy salsa. They are quite popular because although they are very hot, they have a great fruity, citrus flavour that comes along with the heat.
These peppers can be harvested when they are either orange or red and pack serious heat! In comparison to a jalapeño, they are around 75 times hotter!
Habaneros only grow to around 3" and have shiny, smooth skin. They do very well in containers and are a great option if you have little growing space!
