Thunder Mountain Longhorn peppers originate from the region of Guizhou in China, which is surrounded by the mountains of Leigongshan or "Thunder Mountain".
These thin, skinny peppers resemble a cayenne pepper, but can grow up to 20 inches long!
Longhorn peppers have a much more complex flavour in comparison to cayenne peppers. They are often dried, smoked, and made into a powder or sauce which can be used to add flavour to any dish.
These plants can grow up to 4 feet tall, they have heavy yields, producing lots of long hanging fruit. Due to the weight balance of this plant, it is usually suggested that you use something to support the plant.
